Artiteq Click Rail
One of the most popular and versatile picture hanging systems available currently on the market. Using the Click & Connect clips, mounting the system is fast and easy. Artiteq Click Rail may be mounted beneath a ceiling and also be repainted in needed, for example in a colour of a wall or ceiling. This helps the picture hanging system to blend in making it nearly invisible.
Artiteq Click Rail system is available in three different versions: white, white primer and aluminium. The decision which one to go for depends on what type of final look you are trying to achieve. A rail in white primer has been made ready for painting in a colour of your choice. For example to match the colour of your walls or ceiling. Installation of Artiteq rail system
On which wall types can I install an Artiteq Click Rail system?
Artiteq rails can be installed on almost all wall types. On concrete and brick walls, the rail can be installed with the provided plugs. On timber walls, the rail can be installed just with the screws. On plaster walls, the rail can be installed with special plugs for plaster walls (included in the installation kit). Installation on glass wall is not possible.
How to drill holes in order to fasten the clips when mounting Artiteq Click Rail system to a ceiling?
You can mark out the holes by using the Click&Connect feature as a template. The clips are designed in such way that the screws can be inserted diagonally up to a 10° angle, after which the rail can be mounted to the ceiling. If this angle is too small or if you would like to drill at a straighter angle, we recommend that you use a longer drill or a special drill with a compact head.
What is the best way to install the Click Rail system perfectly level?
Mark the wall on both ends with a small dot about one inch from the ceiling. If your wall and ceiling are completely smooth, flat and level, it is also possible to use a wooden strip of about two inches wide. Simply hold it to the ceiling and mark a short line underneath along the wall at every 10 to 16 inches. The brass clips, screws and fasteners can now be installed on this line. When the Artiteq rail is mounted, the pencil marks will no longer be visible.
