The ARTITEQ Click Rail is a versatile picture hanging system designed for straightforward, one-time wall installation. Its key feature is the Click&Connect system, which simplifies the mounting process of the rail (measuring 8.5 mm in height and 25 mm in depth). This system allows the rail to be securely attached to the wall, and it can be positioned directly beneath the ceiling for a seamless look. A significant advantage of the Click Rail is its customisability. Once installed, the Click Rail provides a continuous track from which to hang artwork using compatible hanging wires and hooks (purchased separately). These wires can be easily inserted at any point along the rail and moved horizontally to achieve the desired picture placement. This design offers significant flexibility for rearranging artwork without the need for additional drilling or wall damage, making it an adaptable solution for various interior styles.

Pure white

This shade of white is snow-like. It nicely fits cold coloured walls or spaces. It is also the best if you want to paint it in a colour of your wall or interior.

How to install

End Caps and Installation Brackets are essential components for the proper installation and finishing of our rail systems, and therefore are standard inclusions with any rail purchase. End Caps provide a neat and finished appearance to the cut ends of the rails, preventing any exposed openings. Installation Brackets are the hardware used to securely affix the rails to the wall or ceiling surface. When modifications to the standard rail length are necessary, such as cutting rails to fit specific wall dimensions, additional End Caps will be required to finish the newly cut ends. Similarly, if a particular installation requires more frequent support points than typically provided, extra Installation Brackets can be ordered to ensure adequate stability along the length of the rail. For installations that involve navigating corners, Corner Connectors are necessary. These specialised pieces are designed to join two sections of rail at an angle, facilitating a seamless transition around both inside and outside corners. They ensure a continuous and aesthetically consistent hanging system even when the installation path is not a straight line.

Perlon and Steel Wires

Picture hanging wires and hooks are designed with universal compatibility in mind, allowing for interchangeable use across a system. This means any wire can be paired with any hook without concerns about them not fitting or functioning together. The selection of a specific hook is primarily determined by the weight of the artwork intended for display and the user’s preference for the adjustment mechanism.

Twister Wire can be connected anywhere along the rail whereas Hexagon and Solid Slider has to be inserted in from either side of a rail. They both work in the same way, meaning you can slide them along the rail once installed. Twister Wire gives you more flexibility, while Hexagon and Solid Slider provides increased security to your system as a wire cannot easily be removed from a rail. Both are available in 2mm perlon (transparent nylon) and 2mm steel (braided). Perlon wires can be cut to size if needed.

Picture Hooks

Automatic hooks feature an internal mechanism that engages with the hanging wire when the hook is pressed or squeezed. Upon releasing the pressure, this mechanism automatically secures the hook at the desired position on the wire, offering a quick and tool-free way to adjust the height of the artwork.

Manual hooks, in contrast, utilise a screw-based mechanism. To reposition a manual hook along the hanging wire, the user must first loosen the screw. Once the hook is at the desired height, tightening the screw will firmly clamp it onto the wire, securing the artwork in place. This method offers precise adjustability but requires a manual step for locking the hook.
