ARTITEQ Twister Hanging Wire

The Twister is an absolute pleasure to use. That’s because it offers a super quick way of hanging artwork on a wall with a picture hanging system. So whether you are arranging your wall at home or running a large gallery, the Twister will help by reducing the time needed to connect and position wires along with your system. How does it work? It’s straightforward. Insert it into a rail and turn by 90 degrees. That’s it. When connected, you can slide the wire along the rail to find a perfect place on the wall for your art creations. Perlon wires blend nicely, so it is hardly visible. It gives an impression that the artwork is floating on the wall.

Durable nylon

ARTITEQ Twister Hanging Wires are made of perlon. But what is perlon? Perlon is another name for a type of nylon called Nylon 6. Most military watch bands are made of nylon, but Nylon 6 is slightly different from most nylon forms. Ordinary nylon is made by taking materials and condensing them together to form solid fibres that are then woven together to make the finished fabric. Nylon 6 is made by linking together materials into a tight chain, resulting in higher tensile strength fibres. This is a fancy way of saying that it takes more force to rip a piece of Nylon 6 apart than it does to tear other types of nylon.

Specification

ARTITEQ Twister Hanging Wire is available in 6 lengths. It can be easily trimmed with scissors if it’s too long for your picture hanging system. You can also coil it and attach it to the back of your frame if you need a longer one in the future. The wire is 2mm in diameter and excellent for hanging artwork up to 20kg. We recommend connecting two wires per frame for larger or heavier art pieces. This will provide better stability and double the maximum weight limit to 40kg. With two wires, it is also easier to level your artwork horizontally.
