Extruded from high-grade aluminium alloy, this pre-drilled 600 mm rail features 6 factory-punched 6 mm fixing holes for rapid, hassle-free setup. Flexible Mounting & System Compatibility

The Boston Z-Bar system provides exceptional versatility across various wall surfaces, including drywall, plaster, and timber studs. Because the interlocking cleat profile is uniform across the Boston series, you can freely pair 600 mm rails together or combine a 600 mm rail with 50 mm Boston clips or longer continuous wall rails.

Installation Configurations:

Rail-on-Rail: Pair two 600 mm rails (one on the wall, one on the item) for medium picture frames, wall mirrors, or timber cabinets.
Rail-on-Rail: Mount multiple 50 mm Boston rail to the back of a frame and interlock them onto a continuous 600 mm wall rail.
Split Anchor Fit: Mount a longer Boston wall rail (e.g. 1200 mm) on the wall and pair it with a 600 mm rail segment across the back of your frame.

Installation & Structural Load Safety

1. Mark your fixing positions through the 6 factory 6 mm holes using a spirit level along your wall or timber studs.
2. Secure the wall rail with the open Z-channel facing UP and OUT.
3. Secure the matching rail or clips to the rear top edge of your item with the open Z-channel facing DOWN and IN.
4. Lift your item above the wall rail and lower it into place until the cleats engage. Ensure you allow at least 9.5 mm vertical clearance above the rail to slide the interlocking channels together.

Load Capacity Safety Note: The stated 65 kg weight capacity applies to the structural limit of the aluminium rail itself. Fixings and wall substrates (screws, plugs, plasterboard) typically fail before the rail. Always ensure your fixings and wall structure are rated to support the total load.
