The Loop Hanging Wire is excellent for hanging artwork with moulding hooks, partition wall and panel hooks. The loop is about 5mm tall and secured by an aluminium clamp. A great addition to a wide range of rails, whether it’s a wooden or aluminium picture hanging system. This ARTITEQ Wire is 2mm in diameter and takes up to 20kg of weight.

Durable nylon
ARTITEQ Loop Hanging Wires are mode out of perlon. But what is perlon? Perlon is another name for a type of nylon called Nylon 6. Most military watch bands are made of nylon, but Nylon 6 is slightly different from most nylon forms. Ordinary nylon is made by taking materials and condensing them together to form solid fibres that are then woven together to make the finished fabric. Nylon 6 is made by linking together materials into a tight chain, resulting in higher tensile strength fibres. This is a fancy way of saying that it takes more force to rip a piece of Nylon 6 apart than it does to tear other types of nylon.
Why Loop wire?
ARTITEQ Loop Hanging Wire is available in 5 lengths. If too long for your picture hanging system, it can be easily trimmed with scissors. You can also coil it and attach it to the back of your frame if you need a longer one in the future. The wire is 2mm in diameter and excellent for hanging artwork up to 20kg. We recommend connecting two wires per frame for larger or heavier art pieces. This will provide better stability and double the maximum weight limit to 40kg. With two wires, it is also easier to level your artwork horizontally.
