ARTITEQ Solid Slider Hanging Wire 2mm perlon 20kg
The Solid Slider offers a perfect way of hanging artwork on a picture hanging system. It connects to the system from either end of the rail. When in the rail, you can slide it along to where you want to hang your artwork. It is fairly easy to do as long as there is no weight pulling the wire down. The wire is made from 2mm transparent nylon, which blends nicely with your wall. ARTITEQ Solid Slider is available in 100cm, 150cm, 200cm, 250cm and 300cm. You can cut it to size with a sharp tool or coil it behind a frame in case you may need its full length later. The maximum capacity per wire is 20kg. That’s quite a lot of weight. You can hang several frames on a single wire or just one. If you change your mind, that’s no problem. Rearrange your display within minutes without damaging your wall.

Transparent nylon
ARTITEQ Solid Slider Hanging Wires are mode out of perlon. But what is perlon? Perlon is another name for a type of nylon called Nylon 6. Most military watch bands are made of nylon, but Nylon 6 is slightly different from most nylon forms. Ordinary nylon is made by taking materials and condensing them together to form solid fibres that are then woven together to make the finished fabric. Nylon 6 is made by linking together materials into a tight chain, resulting in higher tensile strength fibres. This is a fancy way of saying that it takes more force to rip a piece of Nylon 6 apart than it does to tear other types of nylon.
Specification
ARTITEQ Solid Slider Hanging Wire is available in 6 lengths. It can be easily trimmed with scissors if it’s too long for your picture hanging system. You can also coil it and attach it to the back of your frame if you need a longer one in the future. The wire is 2mm in diameter and excellent for hanging artwork up to 20kg. We recommend connecting two wires per frame for larger or heavier art pieces. This will provide better stability and double the maximum weight limit to 40kg. With two wires, it is also easier to level your artwork horizontally.
